Designing a personal website for Dipak Vadera, the Full Time Backpacker
How we turned a life on the road into a portfolio that feels like him.

Dipak builds sales pipelines by day and travels the world the rest of the time. His site had to show both sides, and sound like him, not like a template.
We designed the full Full Time Backpacker website as a scrapbook: pinned photos, handwritten notes, bold headings and a world map of everywhere he has been.
Playful, personal, full of colour.
A warm cream page, a bold travel blue and soft peach. Photos are pinned at angles so the site feels collected, not designed.

Details that do the explaining.
Scroll through the page with us. The view moves to each decision as you read.
The first screen
A big welcome headline surrounded by photos from the road.
Welcome to my parallel universe
Bold, condensed and blue, it sets the tone in five words.
His story
A winding timeline of chapters, each with its own pinned photo.
Sales, storytelling, momentum
A playful typographic moment that shows what he actually does.
Around the world
An interactive map of everywhere he has travelled.

How it came together.
One shared file and short loops between design and build.
Getting to know Dipak, his work and his travels.
Planning the story as chapters, from island kid to pipeline builder.
Designing every section like a page in a scrapbook.
Built in Framer and launched at fulltimebackpacker.com.
“I’d put my site off for years because nothing ever felt like me. They nailed my voice instead of a designer’s idea of it.”

More work we’re proud of
Two more projects, designed and built end to end.
